Lane Kiffin smells.

Yes, it’s old news that Lane Kiffin is slimy. Yes, it’s old news that he changed regions of the country last week. Fourteen months after committing to the University of Tennessee football program, he decided to go westward. He left Tennessee to coach the pro football team in Los Angeles. No, the Bills haven’t moved there, yet. Kiffin will be the headman at U$C.

Say what you want about UT deserving this after hiring such a sleazeball in Kiffin. Maybe they did, maybe they didn’t. Bottom line: I would never want Kiffin leading Michigan State out of the tunnel. The guy is a tool and flat out doesn’t do things the right way. It won’t happen (because the NCAA wouldn’t dare mess with USC), but I would love to see Kiffin take the brunt for a mess that Pete “Pay Day” Carroll left behind.

Anyway, on to the developing story. An attorney in Knoxville has filed paperwork with the Knoxville City Council in an attempt to change the name of a local waste water treatment center. His suggestion: to rename it the “Lane Kiffin Sewage Center”. That’s kind of funny. Tennessee fans have a right to be upset with him. Fans young and old are angered by him ditching the Vols.
Let him go, Tennessee fans. This was a blessing in disguise. The guy is a jerk and only cares about himself. As I see it, the only downside to him leaving is that you won’t get as many close-ups of his wife.

And even still, I don’t really think you’re missing out on too much.
