Tom, Please Don’t GizzO.

It’s a nervous time in East Lansing these days as everyone awaits an announcement/decision from Tom Izzo. Current students did their part last night to try to convince him to stay as an announcement was made on the Red Cedar Message board to gather at the Magic Johnson statue outside the Breslin Center at 9pm.

Sophomore center Derrick Nix was part of the gathering and thanked everybody for coming.  And no, he had no insight on the situation.

And, of course, news trucks gathered…probably hoping students would break out into a riot.  It’s awesome to see the student-started event get so much publicity.
