Have you gotten your Tracy McGrady Pistons jersey?

Tracy McGrady has decided that he’ll sport the number one when he suits up for the Pistons.  I’m sure there has been a decent spike in Pistons jersey sales since the announcement.  I’m not a huge jersey wearer, especially basketball, especially when the guy is only in Detroit on a one year deal.  But, I may have to go against my druthers on this one. 


I was pretty shocked that the Pistons signed T-Mac and it might be cool to support him.  I could just buy a discounted leftover Chauncey Billups jersey and have “McGrady” put on the back, but that wouldn’t be cool.  If I’m going to support T-Mac, I think a new authentic jersey is the only way to go.

After looking at the NBA Store, I may have to re-consider.  I didn’t think it’d be this expensive.





$250 seems kinda steep, but least I’ll be able to wear it to work.  It’ll be more functional than my old Darko jersey.


If the Pistons get 50 games out of McGrady they should consider themselves lucky.
