Jon Gruden calls out Derek Anderson on MNF

Remember the days when opposing athletes didn’t like each other?  The days when a hard foul was accepted.  The days when throwing behind a batter was considered a wake-up call and not an automatic warning to both benches.  The days when an enforcer was allowed to return the favor when his star teammate was run.


While current athletes are bigger, stronger and faster than athletes of the past, they have grown softer too.  To me, there is way too much camaraderie these days – way too many “bro hugs” during and immediately after games.  Last night, Jon Gruden lit up Arizona Cardinals quarterback Derek Anderson as he yucked it up with a teammate during their loss on Monday Night Football.
