Sumo wrestler finishes the marathon

1.  I didn’t know that Sumo wrestlers could be anything other than Asian.
2.  I didn’t know Sumo wrestlers exercised other than the all-too frequent doughnut curls.

Kelly Gneiting, a three-time U.S. national champion sumo wrestler entered the Guinness Book of World Records by becoming the heaviest person ever to finish a marathon.  At six feet tall and 400 pounds, the pile of flesh and lard ate the finish line at nine hours, 48 minutes and 52 Double Whoppers.  According to Fox Sports, Gneiting swallowed his previous personal best which sat at 11 hours, 52 minutes and 11 buckets of extra crispy.

Big boy “jogged” (or yogged) the first eight miles, walked the last 18 and claimed that he was delirious for the final ten.

Aside from finishing marathons and eating a lot, Gneiting also dabbles in comedy.  After the race, he said, “I honestly think I’m one of  the best athletes in the world.”  Uh, what is no?
