Charlie Villanueva goes nuts after Ryan Hollins…literally

It’s been far from sunny for the Detroit Pistons this year.  It didn’t look good from the start, but it’s gotten worse. Players laughed as head coach John Kuester was ejected earlier this season.  A half dozen players have had run-ins with Kuester.  Tonight, Charlie Villanueva took out his frustration on Cavs forward Ryan Hollins.

After the game, Chuck V said that Hollins had caught him with an intentional elbow that led to Villanueva to go looking for Hollins’ nuts. Then after learning he was tossed, he was a man possessed.  Maybe he was trying to rip Hollins’ chin hair, I’m not sure.  He claimed it was a “heat of the moment” thing. The initial stuff maybe was, but trying to squirm through dozens of grown men to get at Ryan freakin’ Hollins?  You’re better than that. Well, your game isn’t better than that, but your maturity level should be.

It was reported that Villanueva tried to get at the Cavs locker room.  He was also quoted as saying, “I’m will kill that dude.  I don’t give a (expletive).”  Well Charlie, we don’t either.

Be gone, season.  Bring on the draft lottery.  Hurry.
