Lenny Dykstra charged with indecent exposure

Former New York Mets and Philadelphia Phillies outfielder Lenny Dykstra has been charged for indecent exposure in Los Angeles. Once known for being a “gamer” on the baseball field, Dykstra played Craigslist like it was a sport.

He has been accused of placing advertisements online on craigslist.org seeking personal assistants or housekeepers. He would then expose himself to the victims who responded to the ads between 2009 and 2011 after telling them that the job description included giving him a massage.

The Los Angeles city attorney’s office said Thursday that Dykstra, 48 years old, could face up to six months in jail and a $1,000 fine for each indecent exposure count.

Dykstra is currently facing car theft, drug possession and bankruptcy fraud charges from separate incidents. The leadoff hitter for the L.A. county jail should feel honored that a former Major Leaguer will be taking his spot. “Nails” is about to sign a mult-year deal.
