Chris Paul and family appear on Family Feud

You’ve seen Chris Paul on such shows as the NBA on TNT, the NBA All Star game, the NBA Playoffs. And when dropping dimes and picking pockets on the basketball floor, he’s sitting on the couch enjoying himself some Steve Harvey and Family Feud. These days, he’s enjoying himself a lot of Steve Harvey and Family Feud.

Paul and family appeared on Tuesday’s show. Shockingly, they were not given preferential treatment because of Chris’ superstardom. According to nola.com, Paul’s family:

“…got in the game over the summer as any family would, by calling up the show’s player hotline (323.762.8467) and requesting an audition. They tried out in New Orleans during auditions held in conjunction with the Essence Music Festival. According to a show spokeswoman, there were no pre-arrangements made to inform casting producers that an NBA superstar would be trying out with his family.”

“I didn’t know who he was,” said Gaby Johnston, executive producer. “I had no clue.” She added, “we’d done NBA players before on the show.” Sure ya have, Gaby.

Anyway, here’s a clip of Chris Paul’s appearance. He came off pretty well.

hey man, good for him! there's no use sitting around for the season to start. everyone needs to hustle to make it.

Yeah right needs the money.. 65 million net worth 4.5 million for 08 09 season. He said he likes Family Feud. When you have money you can do whatever.

Chris Paul was not the only player on his side like on most game shows that have one or sometimes two players to a side. "Family Feud" has five players to a side. I'm sure the other four don't make nearly as much money in a year of work as Chris does. He may loan money to one of his relatives who was on the show occasionally but not that often.

Steve Harvey is a hypocrite, womanizer and an egotistical big mouth, nobody!!!!

Whats your beef with Steve Harvey?

Chris Paul intended to donate any winnings to his CP3 foundation.

And I love that Steve Harvey's ex-girlfriend posted here (2:33pm Anonymous).

Everyone comments on how much these players make but may not realize that a lot of their NBA contracts are based on if they play. I don't think they get paid of there's no season. The top players get most of their money from endorsements. I've never heard of this player so I'm not sure if he has endorsement deals to fall back on.

I think everyone wants to be on a game show at some point in their life…it's just a small percentage that actually get to do it. So what if he's also a celebrity to those who know about him. Even celebrities can try to lead some semblance of a normal life once in a while…
    They're people, too.

Why are people so damn negative. Who gives a care why Chris chose to do the game show. Stop all the hating and be supportive some damn time. Hell, I dont have enough family support to be on any game show, but he does and what about you. Kick ass Mr Paul, you are loved in the dirty south which includes MS. Let the haters do their jobs.

I think its a great ideal to bring celebrities on game shows. Others games shows have them, are these celebrities out of work or did there TV show get canceled. I would love to be on any game show. For all of you that is concerned about Chris's income, send a donation to the GP3 foundation.
