Detroit Mercy guard Ray McCallum, Jr. scores on bounce shot

Nobody knew about this play over the weekend because the University of Detroit Mercy doesn’t seem to know how to get their men’s basketball program publicity. No one is expecting to see them on ESPN or even ESPNU on a weekly basis, but a free streaming online might help generate interest to get a few extra people in the stands at Calihan Hall. But, I digress.

Ray McCallum, Jr. might be the most talented point guard in the midwest that nobody knows about (or remembers – he was a high school All American two years ago). Playing at Bowling Green against Austin Peay, Junior pulled out a shot every hustler should have in their P-I-G repertoire. He’s the second guy in white to flash to the top of the key (at around 0:06).
