Urban Meyer’s Gainesville is home up for sale

With Urban Meyer securely entrenched in Columbus, Ohio as the Ohio $tate head football coach (until he decides he wants to “retire” again), he really doesn’t have a need for his former Gainesville, Florida home.

It’s a home built for a Florida Gators fan who has a spare $1.7 million in his pocket. Who else would want to live in tropical storm territory amid constant humidity and snakes in your backyard (and that’s after Urban left).

The stats on the house include: 6,719 square feet on 1.99 acres with six bedrooms, 5.5 bathrooms and the largest couch you’ve ever seen.
