Apparently it wasn’t for Lions All-Nastytime wide receiver Calvin Johnson to dominate one sport in Detroit.  He took his hand to a second, baseball, Friday at Comerica Park and faired pretty well.

The Tigers welcomed CJ to the clubhouse and to take batting practice with them before Friday’s game with the Pittsburgh Pirates.  Calvin more than held his own and looked pretty comfortable in the cage.  He was actually drafted by the Cincinnati Reds out of high school, but chose to go to Georgia Tech to play football.  Here’s video of the natural via Fox Sports Detroit.

As a thank you, Johnson signed a football for Tigers skipper Jim Leyland
