Fan yells “Mashed potatoes” after Jim Furyk tee shot

On Thursday at the U.S. Open, it was “filet mignon” after a Tiger Woods tee shot.  Sunday, it was “mashed potatoes” after a tee shot from Jim Furyk on the par 4 sixth hole.  I must be missing something.  What’s in the water in San Francisco?

If someone has any clue as to this new fad of yelling delectable foods after tee shots, please clue me in.  And then throw a filet on the grill for me and get some mashed potatoes going on the stove.  Medium well please…and add some garlic to the potatoes…and leave some skins on them.  Thank you much.
