Crazy U.S. Open fan interrupts Webb Simpson’s award ceremony

Stupid U.S. Open fan

Some nutjob thought it be a great idea to interrupt first-time Major champion Webb Simpson’s award ceremony Sunday at the Olympic Club.  A part-human/part-bird tried his best at rattling true professional Bob Costas during his interview.  Costas looked a little flustered, but Simpson took it in stride much like he did the final round.  The best part about it is the tiny bald man picture above yanking crazy Brit off the screen.

Simpson even got in a “enjoy your jail cell, buddy” jab in.  Love it (the jab), not the nutbag. With the toughness of the course and the lunacy of the San Franciscan fans, I’m unsure if the Olympic Club deserves another major any time soon.
