Justin Verlander’s “Upton Girl” – a Billy Joel parody

Over the last week, there has been a bunch of hullabaloo over the relationship between Tigers ace Justin Verlander and Sports Illustrated swimsuit goddess Kate Upton.  The website Busted Coverage scrounged up some evidence of Upton “hanging all over” Verlander in Shelby Township this past weekend after the two attended an Aerosmith concert.  Friday night, Upton attended the Tigers-Royals game.  JV’s representatives have said that Verlander will have no comment on whether he’s actually Upton’s “Cat Daddy” or whether it’s purely a professional relationship and he’s still together with long time girlfriend Emily Yuen.  Upton was born in St. Joseph, MI.

Drew & Mike on Detroit’s 101WRIF, got in on the act by producing a jam based off Billy Joel’s “Uptown Girl”.  The name – “Upton Girl”.  The results – they nailed it…like JV is nailing Kate…allegedly, of course.
