The U.S. women’s gymnastics team’s intra-national roadtrip is still in full swing. On Tuesday, they were visiting Chavez Ravine to throw out first pitches before the Padres-Dodgers games. Gabby Douglas (left), Kyla Ross (right) and McKayla Maroney (center) all took to their respective spots on the mound to heave the cowhide in the direction of home plate.

Maroney showed a little savvy by actually moving back to the mound to make her attempt more legit.  Not bad.
