In professional sports, rookie “hazing” can be incredibly entertaining.  The veterans need good ideas and the rookies have to be willing to carry it out.  You’re only a rookie once and you have to have fun with it.  The Golden State Warriors rookies get it.  If you can’t tell, they thoroughly enjoyed their hazing during an open practice Saturday.  They were asked to belt out solos in front of fans who came out to Oracle Arena to watch practice.

Second round pick Draymond Green led it off by killing a few lines of “Lean On Me.”  Undrafted rookie Lance Goulbourne broke out the ABC’s while Kent Bazemore broke out Michael Jackson’s “ABC.”  First round pick Harrison Barnes kicked out some Jay-Z.  Festus Elezi made his teammates uncomfortable with some Backstreet Boys.

At the 10:20 mark, the rooks got a short tutorial of how to dance “Gangnam Style.”
