Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports has reported that the Tigers have signed free agent outfielder Torii Hunter to a two-year contract, pending a physical.  Bob Nightengale of USA Today reports that the deal is worth $26 million.

Hunter visited Detroit Tuesday, but reportedly left without receiving a contract offer.

The Tigers are expected to have the nine-time Gold Glover play right field and bat second in front of Miguel Cabrera.
