Bizarre occurrence at the end of the UCLA-Arizona State game (VIDEO)
Per the normalcy of the end of any basketball game that is out-of-reach – the winning team dribbles out of the clock, hands the ball to the ref and the players all give bro-hugs. Not at the end of Saturday’s UCLA-Arizona State game. The Sun Devils beat the Bruins 78-60.
ASU’s Evan Gordon was dribbling out the clock when UCLA’s Jordan Adams came out of nowhere to pick Gordon’s dribble and try to take it the length of the floor for a dunk. Some might say that Adams was playing until the buzzer, but really, he was playing to pad his stats. Adams was credited for the steal, but the easy dunk wasn’t easy at all.
Arizona State forward Carrick Felix ran down Adams for a last second block…making Adams look rightfully foolish.
Sucker.
