The Allen Americans and Fort Worth Brahmas are rivals in the Central Hockey League, which is a mid-level professional hockey league made up of guys mostly in their mid-20′s.

On Saturday, the Americans and Brahmas got into a bruhaha that started with a one-on-one, turned into an American pummeling a turtling Brahma and fans throwing beer onto players.  The goalies even danced with each other a little bit.

Just like the quality of hockey in the league, the camera used to shoot this video is far from great.  But when you’re trying to capture 12 guys fighting, it’s tough to grab it all.

Here’s video.  Note: at the 0:26, that’s Americans forward Alex Penner (listed at 6’4″, 240 pounds) pummeling a turtling Brahmas’ forward Cory Schneider (listed at 5’10″, 192 pounds).  Talk about un-American.
