Lions wide received Calvin Johnson is used to catching footballs thrown from Matthew Stafford’s Jugs machine with NFL linebackers and safeties looking to knock his block off.  Recently, he was Bristol, Connecticut at the ESPN headquarters catching passes thrown from SportsCenter anchor Lindsay Czarniak.  But Czarniak was not tossing around the pigskin, but rather a carton’s worth of eggs – rapid fire.

And while Stafford’s accuracy has come under fire this past season, he’s Greg Maddux-paint-the-corners compared to Czarniak’s Ricky Vaughn in Major League.

Czarniak mentioned Stafford during the taping and threw the next egg sidearm and way wide of her target – whether that was intentional or a complete coincidence is anyone’s guess.
