Wild benching-clearing brawl between UC Riverside and Sacramento State (VIDEO)

Baseball has its first bench-clearing brawl under its belt. Friday afternoon, UC Riverside and Sacramento State went toe-to-toe. It started after Riverside baserunner Eddie Young was tagged out during a rundown between second and third. After Young was tagged by Sac State second baseman Andrew Ayers, he gave an unnecessary Ayers’ wrist. That led to a shove from Ayers and a haymaker from Young, which Ayers took like an absolute champ.
Here’s video of the melee via KCRATV in Sacramento:
Per NCAA rules, all three will be suspended for the next four games. The two teams play a doubleheader on Saturday before wrapping the series up with a single game on Sunday.

The guy who threw the punch should be suspended for the year….punk loser
Simple – Eddie Young was embarrassed and is a very sore loser. He punches like a little girl.
