On Wednesday, the White Sox and Mariners went 13 innings without scoring a run. In the top of the 14th, the White Sox spiked for five run, which was sure to hold up. That was, until White Sox closer Addison Reed went ahead and gave up the first run, loaded the bases and gave up a game-tying grand salami to Kyle Seager.
After sitting through a zip-zip tie for 13 innings and then seeing a grand slam in the 14th, Joe Marinersfan couldn’t contain himself. So much so, that he ran over a child to chase down Seager’s home run ball.
Watch the guy in the white t-shirt and cargo shorts. I would advise him to act like he’s been there before, but let’s face it. He’s a Mariners fan. He’s never been there before.
